This week, students from The Oracle took part in another enriching session at Myerscough College, focusing on animal care—and this time, it was all about cats!

During their visit, the students were hands-on with tasks such as cleaning enclosures, feeding the cats, and ensuring their environments were calm and comfortable. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about animal welfare and develop valuable skills like responsibility, patience, and empathy.

Staff were proud to see the students working as a team, showing care and respect for the animals throughout the session. For many, spending quiet moments with the cats was the highlight of the day.

These weekly visits continue to provide real-world learning in a supportive environment—and the students are already looking forward to next week’s session.
