Our students are continuing their weekly therapy dog training sessions—and both dog and handlers are making great progress!

This week’s focus was on calm commands, lead walking, and gentle interaction. Students practised patience, communication, and positive reinforcement techniques, helping the dog build trust and confidence.

Not only do these sessions support the dogs development, but they also give students the chance to build empathy, teamwork, and responsibility—skills that go far beyond the classroom.

Every week brings more progress—and plenty of tail wags too!
