Play dough making
We made play dough ready for when all of our friends are back in school tomorrow. It was so much fun but very messy. ⭐️
SCARF - Riley
Well done to Riley who is our scarf wearer this week. He is always a kind friend and gives great hugs.☺️
Lily is a star
Well done Lily - you are our star this week for using your words to communicate with your adults. ⭐️
Choosing stories
The children in 1B have been choosing stories to take home to share with their families.
Independent learner
Wow Riley! Riley was watching me (Miss Brown) chopping up the fruit for breakfast. He took the knife from me and began to cut up the pear. When it came to chopping the apples, it was a bit more challenging so Riley put his hand over mine and we chopped the apples up together. ☺️
Bouncy Room Fun
We have enjoyed some time in the bouncy room this morning. ☺️
Maisie,mountain,mountain
In phonics, we are learning to recognise the sound ‘m’ sound which we sound out as ‘mmmmmmmmm.’ The children had a go at mark making and some children were able to write the letter m. Well done everyone.
SCARF - SAFE
Well done Brooke, you have achieved this weeks SCARF award of being safe. Brooke you have adapted well to a new classroom and have followed all given instructions. ⭐️
Star of the week - Jack
A big well done to Jack who is this week’s star. Jack, you have shown independence in all aspects of school life and you are beginning to use the correct sign when communicating.
Building relationships
We made the most of the weather this afternoon and it was a great opportunity to build relationships. Lots of shouting each other’s names and playing alongside each other as well as engaging in play together . ☀️
Welcome to 1B
We have all had a wonderful start to the year in our new classroom. Our teacher is Miss Brown, our teaching assistant is Mrs Cholmondeley and our Apprentice is Mr Sharman. ⭐️
