Myerscough College: Animal Husbandry

Students bathed Spyro the bearded dragon and learned about looking after a bearded dragon.

They also leaned an interesting fact about why bearded dragons are so named, when stressed they enlarge their throat and the skin turns black looking more beard-like.

Cookery

Today Mrs Irvings college group started their cookery sessions with Lottie from Blackpool Catering Services. We made scones today cheese,cherry or fruit. The students used some of the skills they have previously used in cookery sessions. They really enjoyed the session and took home their scones.
