Recycling activity
In Eco & Play this afternoon, we completed a sorting activity. The pupils had to decide which bin the different items would go in. It created lots of discussion around whether something could be recycled or go in the compost bin.

Astronomer Badge
During cubs this week, we started talking about the solar system & the different planets. We talked about how far each of them is away from the sun. We used a model from the science lab to help us.

KS5 Fitness Club
KS5 worked hard in our after school fitness club!
Tobias worked on his PB for the plank (2nd in the oracle over 7 mins!)
Nathan worked with the weight bags and Kamron worked hard on his jogging technique!
Luca and Olivia worked so hard that they needed a sit and lie down!

Final Tag Rugby Session
Pupils had their last session today with Ben from Fylde Rugby Community Trust.
They've learnt a lot from their time with him, which will hopefully be translated into future success in tag rugby tournaments.

KS1 Sensory club have been exploring an oats and pasta farm this afternoon, we enjoyed sprinkling the oats and crunching the pasta. We also spent time in the sunshine bouncing on the trampoline and splashing int he water tray.
