Happy New Year
We have been busy this week reminding ourselves of the PCA Way, by taking part in lots of games and shared tasks to help us work together well as a class. Our writing focus has been poetry, both listening to and writing our own.
Poem performance is assembly by 2C pupils
In assembly five pupils in 2C were very confident and read their snow poem aloud to the whole KS2 assembly! The poems are what we have been writing in English.
A huge well done to Corey, Michael, Leo, Eddie and Kya :)
The last couple of Christmas days!
We have had crafts, shows, sing alongs, baking and lots of festive fun. Merry Christmas and have a lovely new year. Well done 2C for completing your Autumn term.
Winter Wonderland 2024
We had a festive morning here at school, for Winter Wonderland!
The children were first met by santa who gifted them each a present, before setting off through the forest, led by our very own giant gingerbread person! At the other end, the children took some time to decorate ginger…
Panto time!
2C enjoyed their trip to this years Panto to watch... Aladdin! Laughs, snacks and lots of clapping for the performers.
Paper chain challenge!
This week in STEM, we have been set the challenge of making the longest paper chain!
Snowman sell out!
Wow! What a morning. 2C ended up selling out in just 20 minutes. All the pupils came to the hall to have a look around, set up the stall and then some children helped sell the snowmen. Thank you to everyone who purchased a snowman from 2C!
Enterprise preperations
2C were very busy today decorating over 50 snowmen for our Enterprise stall. We spoke all about how we need to decorate each piece with care and how we need to make them amazing for people to purchase. The price point of £2 also helped us do some counting in 2's.
Geography this week
This week in geography we have been utilising our Westbury building, to complete a traffic survey on Whitegate Drive. The pupils used their tally skills to count the amount of different types of transport, which passed by the window within the measured time.
Rangoli art!
We have been using our symmetry skills to try and make our own rangoli pattern. The children have been learning about these within RE, within our study of Hinduism.
Odd socks for Anti-bullying week!
