Egg drop challenge part 1
This morning the public services group took part in an egg drop challenge. The teams had to design a device to keep an egg from breaking that's going to be dropped from the balcony in the sports centre.

Public Services- Balloon Chair Challenge
This week the Key Stage 5 Public Services group has completed a balloon chair challenge, in teams the group had to make a chair from balloons that could hold a member of their team without popping the chair! All teams successfully completed the challenge, well done!!

BTEC Work skills - company research
This afternoon we have been creating fact sheets for various major companies. We have looked into companies such as Costa, McDonalds and Subway, researched them and made a presentation about them.

Marble run STEM challenge
5M's STEM challenge continues.
We have made our own Rube Goldberg machines at the Oracle today. We have linked various materials to allow a marble to roll from start to finish. We have got very creative and used our resilience when it hasn't worked how we planned, well done 5M!

Duke of Edinburgh Dungeons and Dragons
We have been playing Dungeons and Dragons today in our Duke of Edinburgh session. We have created our character and have been working our way through the game. We have been developing our creative skills, our teamwork skills and developed our social/emotional skills.

This morning the Sixth form Public Services group have created a presentation on sport and activity.
This afternoon they have taken part in varous invasion games and discussed how they would deliver these games to groups.

5M Fitness
Today 5M have been using the gym at B&FC, they used half of their session focusing on cardio' equipment such as the running machine, cross trainer and exercise bike and finished by using the second half for strength training, well done 5M!!
