Matching!
In maths, we have looked at matching by colour and pattern. We used the term ‘same’, using correct language to describe the bears and ice creams!

Light and Dark
In English, we have been reading ‘In the Dark, Dark Wood’. Today we have looked at the vocabulary ‘light’ and ‘dark’, we changed the lights in the classroom to experience the difference and then sorted images of light and dark scenery. Well done 2M!

What’s in the box?
We reached the end of our story ‘In the Dark Dark Wood’ today and we found what was hiding in the box… a ghost! We all were very surprised.

2M Music
2M enjoyed their music lesson in the sensory room today. They had to match the colour on their glockenspiel to the colours of the lights in the sensory room. Learning different tones and pitches for each colour. Fantastic learning everyone.

2M Science
2M were in the forest for their science lesson this morning, they loved the freedom of exploring around the forest and creating their own entertainment using the natural resources available. Some pupils were playing with leaves and twigs whilst others enjoyed the textures of the mud and water.

2M Maths
2M had fun splatting numbers during their maths lesson, they communicated to Miss Miller which colour number splatter they wanted and then listened to which number they needed to splat everyone was amazing!
