In 2W’s DT lesson today we enjoyed practicing our cutting, folding and rolling skills with pieces of card. We are working on having better control of our scissors and our precision with folding and rolling.

Today 2W had their second trumpet lesson with Mr Holt! We are enjoying practicing making a noise through the instrument and listening to Mr Holt play a familiar tune!

Congratulations to Chenar who is our SCARF wearer this week for a fantastic first trumpet lesson! Well done Chenar!

Congratulations to Redowan who is our star of the week for his fantastic work with colour matching! Well done Redowan!

Today 2W were lucky enough to watch a performance of Alice in Wonderland by M&M productions. We loved all of the costumes and songs that we could join in with! Thank you M&M productions!

2W have shown outstanding sorting skills in their maths lesson today! We enjoyed sorting objects into groups by colour and size!

Today 2W have enjoyed their first trumpet lesson with Mr Holt! 2W loved exploring how a trumpet feels and trying to make a sound out of it. Well done everyone!

Today in science we made our very own play dough, then we did a space themed dough disco where we made a rocket with our dough and sent it off to space.

2W have loved their drumming lesson during music today! They enjoyed exploring the noise that the drum makes and following along to the beat of a song chosen by the class!

This week we have welcomed most of our pupils to 2W! We have had a lovely few days of getting to know each other and exploring our new classroom environment. One of our favourite activities that we have done this week is doing Dough-Disco! We can’t wait to spend this year together!
