The children explored a variety of fun and engaging activities to develop their counting skills and number recognition up to 10. They enjoyed using numbered tins, carefully counting and matching the correct number of objects to each tin. They also used play-dough to roll, shape and form different numbers ,helping to develop their fine motor skills while becoming familiar with number formation.Another activity involved pairing and matching numbers with the corresponding quantities, encouraging the children to recognise numbers and understand what each number represents. Through these hands-on, practical experiences , the children were able to practise counting in a fun and interactive way , building their confidence, developing their mathematical understanding and strengthening their early numeracy skills.
