Today 2T had a spooktacular time exploring our Halloween-themed sensory bowls filled with lentils and pumpkin! They loved getting hands-on, scooping, pouring, touching and exploring the different textures, colours and shapes. The lentils provided a wonderful sensory experience, encouraging the children to use their hands and fingers to feel, move and investigate, while the pumpkins added a fun seasonal touch!
Through this exciting Halloween activity, the children were able to explore their senses, develop their fine motor skills, practise hand-eye coordination and discover cause and effect as they scooped and transferred the lentils from one bowl to another. There were plenty of opportunities for curiosity, creativity and imaginative play as they explored their spooky sensory bowls in their own unique ways.
