In our PSHE lesson, we were thinking about the many people in our community who help and support us every day. We talked about important members of our community, including police officers, nurses, teachers, bus drivers and many others.

We watched some videos showing how these people help others and discussed why their jobs are so important. We then chose one community helper and described the different ways they help people and make a positive difference in our community.

It was lovely to hear the children’s thoughtful ideas and to see how much they appreciate the people who help to keep our community safe, healthy and happy.
