Spreading Kindness and Gratitude 💛
This week, our pupils spent some time thinking about the kindness that Jesus showed to others and why it is important to be thankful when people are kind, caring and helpful towards us.
The children reflected on the people who had shown kindness to them and thought carefully about what those people had done. They then put their thoughts into words by creating their own beautiful thank-you cards, filled with some truly lovely messages.
Some pupils chose to thank our wonderful kitchen staff for preparing their food at dinner time. Others thanked friends for always being there for them, while some chose to thank our fantastic site team for helping to keep our school safe and welcoming.
The children then hand-delivered their cards, bringing lots of smiles to the faces of the people who received them! 😊
It was a wonderful reminder that even a small act of kindness or a few heartfelt words of thanks can make a big difference. We are so proud of our pupils for recognising the kindness around them and taking the time to spread a little more kindness themselves. 💕
