Today, class 2T brought maths to life using the classic nursery rhyme "five little speckled frogs" to explore subtraction from 5.

Using five frog soft toys, the children physically moved the frogs to see what happens when you take away from a whole number. This hands-on activity helped them visualise subtraction and confidently recognise quantities up to 5.

The children showed fantastic engagement and loved matching their maths learning to a fun, physical story!
