In maths, we are working on numbers and place value. The children enjoyed exploring Numicon, using the different shapes to investigate numbers in a hands-on way. They carefully counted the holes and explored the different Numicon pieces.

The children experimented with joining Numicon shapes together to see how smaller numbers can be combined to make larger numbers. This helped to develop their understanding of number relationships while encouraging curiosity and exploration.

It was wonderful to see the children engaged in their learning and confidently exploring mathematical concepts through practical activities.
