Science – Grouping Animals 

Today in Science, 3P have been learning all about different species of animals and how they can be grouped according to their characteristics. The children explored a variety of animals and thought carefully about what makes them similar or different.

We worked together to sort the animals into different groups, using features such as their appearance, body coverings, habitats and how they move. The children enjoyed discussing their ideas and explaining why they thought certain animals belonged together.
