A new topic today for 4H in Maths - Positional Language. This enables pupils to understand direction, movement, location and order. First, the pupils came up to answer and say the different mathematical Stem Sentences on the board, next they worked with a partner using cubes to practice Stem Sentences and finally they had a look around the room to create their own Stem Sentences using Positional Language.
