KS3 pupils took part in an Arts Award lesson where they created imaginative self-portraits by cutting and placing their faces onto paper, then extending their ideas using prompts about their thoughts, feelings and interests. Inspired by different examples, they used their creativity to visually represent what was “inside their minds.” Throughout the activity, pupils developed their fine motor skills through careful cutting and sticking, while also using their imagination to produce thoughtful and expressive pieces of artwork.
