3H had a fantastic morning taking part in our phonics activity carousel. Some pupils worked on sounding out CVC words and blending them together, pressing down the play-doh for each sound to help them hear and feel the sounds. Others focused on super‑fast sight reading, showing brilliant recall and confidence. We also completed our single‑sound sheets, where pupils identified the sound, finger‑painted it, made it in play-doh, and traced it carefully. Another group worked on recognising the sound ‘sh’ and did a great job finding the missing letters as they sounded out the words. Well done, 3H — super phonics work today!
