During national numeracy week 2R have enjoyed creating a Cafe in their classroom! We all got to work setting a table, making a sign, washing pots and making sandwiches to serve and eat in our Cafe. Everyone in 2R used fantastic numeracy skills to help them count plates and cutlery, divide sandwiches into halves and quarters and spend pretend money to buy treats. To end the day everyone sat around a table and enjoyed a jam sandwich and some yummy snacks!
