Our LifeSkills lesson this morning was a brilliant blend of communication, shared experiences and social‑skill building — all wrapped up in creativity. Pupils chose their own shared tasks, from continuing our giant collage alpaca to selecting a section of the doodle paper or enjoying the sensory exploration of the sand. It was wonderful watching pupils use communication boards to support conversations between them, and great to hear lots of conversations between pupils. Everyone showed fantastic awareness of others, demonstrated great sharing skills and let their creativity shine. A truly lovely morning of LifeSkills learning — meaningful, social and supportive, but in a fun and creative way.
