Creating our clay mugs has been such a rewarding process from start to finish. After carefully shaping the clay by hand and adding all the little details, the mugs were left to dry before heading into the kiln for their first firing. Waiting for them to come back was exciting, and now they’ve reached one of the most creative stages — painting and glazing. Seeing the plain clay transformed with colour and personality really brings each mug to life, making every piece completely unique before its final firing.
