Our 1B pupils had a brilliant time in this week’s ‘My Creativity’ session, exploring sound, movement and sensory play. The children watched with excitement as chickpeas were poured into the tuff tray and onto the tambourine, before getting stuck in with their hands and beaters to make lots of wonderful noise. They were fascinated as the chickpeas bounced and jumped around. Pupils also used the ‘more’ symbol to request more chickpeas so they could keep the fun going — a lovely, simple way to build early numeracy language during National Numeracy Week. Throughout the session, pupils showed fantastic turn‑taking, sharing, waiting and brilliant engagement! Well done 1B!
