Pupils in 2P had a busy afternoon creating art with nature. During our forest school visit, they collected leaves, stones, twigs and flowers sorting them into groups. Back in class, we explored the leaves using our senses, feeling their textures and describing them using words hard and soft, as well as smelling them. 
Pupils then used communication boards to choose coloured crayons and created leaf rubbings, producing beautiful colourful pictures with clear leaf patterns.
