During this mornings sensory experience, a group of 1B children explored a tray of bubbles and sponges. The children demonstrated curiosity as they investigated different textures, splatted bubbles, scrubbed the tray, and squeezed bubbles from the sponges. They took turns using the resources and interacted positively with their peers throughout the activity. This experience supported the development of fine motor skills through squeezing, scrubbing, and manipulating materials, while also providing rich sensory input. The children were utilising important social skills such as turn-taking, shared attention, and communication within a group setting.
