3W took part in baking cakes in small groups as part of a fundraising project for the school Spring Fair. Students worked collaboratively to use kitchen equipment safely. They practised key life skills including communication, turn‑taking and problem‑solving while sharing tasks such as mixing. This activity also helped to develop independence, organisation and an understanding of money and purpose, as pupils were motivated by contributing to a real‑life fundraising event.
