3H had an absolute blast in RE this week with a wonderfully hands‑on, sensory lesson all about Humanism! To help us explore what makes someone a humanist and the values they hold, we created our very own “humanist soup.” Pupils added glitter to represent helping others—because humanists support everyone, and glitter gets everywhere!—pom‑poms for kindness, equal spoons of sprinkles to show fairness, question marks for curiosity and a love of learning, and finally PVA glue to symbolise the people who hold all these values together, as we learnt humanist beliefs come from individuals rather than a God. The class showed fantastic engagement, shared thoughtful answers, and fully embraced the fun!
