Today we completed our spring river scenes by adding the final element the bridge. We began by practising how to use rulers to draw horizontal and vertical lines with felt tips. We then visited the Key Stage 1 playground to observe a real bridge and practise walking across it. Afterwards, we used rulers, brown paint and fine paintbrushes to carefully add a bridge to our artwork. We are incredibly proud of the finished pieces, which we have developed over the half term by focusing on different elements each week using different tools and techniques to build up to a final outcome.
