Today we stepped into the world of Shakespeare at The grand theatre Blackpool with enthusiasm  that impressed everyone involved. Our day began with a technical rehearsal on the stage with a professional director and lighting team. We then moved on to workshop that explored the language, themes and performances tradition of the Bards work. What followed was a series of more hands on workshop that pushed our  creativity, confidence and stagecraft to new heights.

We left the event buzzing with pride especially after learning from professor Waugh that our accents are a powerful part of who we are and where we came from. It was a message that resonated strongly and added a personal touch to an already inspiring day.
