4H have been busy making jam and lemon tarts. Flour was everywhere as they rolled out the pastry, making sure the thickness was right, spoons clinked in different jars of strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, apricot jam and lemon curd. Once the tarts were filled, the sweet smell of baking filled the room before they emerged out of the oven all golden, warm and sticky.
