Pupils in 2P have recently started exploring the concept of tall and short in maths. The class took part in a range of engaging, hands-on activities to help develop their understanding of size and comparison. Pupils began by identifying tall and short objects using images on the interactive whiteboard. They then moved on to practical activities, building cube towers and matching tall and short towers with adult support. some pupils were able to order the towers by size and some took part in 1-1 matching using size as the criteria. To extend their learning further, pupils matched tall and short animals to the correct symbols, reinforcing their understanding through play and visual supports. Great work 2P.
