Today for British Science Week we did the Hanky experiment. 2E explored absorption in the form of effective material to blow your nose with. 2E looked at grease proof paper, tinfoil, tissue, kitchen roll and cotton wool. As a class they poured water on the table and predicted whether it would absorb the water or not. 2E were really engaged and enjoyed predicting and seeing the outcomes!
