Today 3W learned about the digestive system by exploring what each organ looks like and understanding the role it plays in breaking down food. They looked at diagrams to see the mouth, oesophagus, stomach, and intestines, and discussed how these organs work together to digest food and absorb nutrients. To consolidate their knowledge, the students completed a worksheet where they labelled the organs and explained their functions in simple terms.
