Yesterday, pupils in 2P spent a wonderful morning immersed in colour as we began exploring our new story The Rainbow Fish. We learnt all about rainbows, discovering how they are made up of many different colours and why they are something so beautiful. The pupils matched and named colours and took part in creative activities to design their own bright, colourful rainbows. We also really enjoyed watching beautiful, coloured fish swimming in the ocean, linking this to our story. Throughout the session, pupils used communication boards and symbols to make choices, answer simple questions, and learn key words connected to the story.
