4H’s science experiment today was to check for acid or alkaline. Firstly, they tore a red cabbage into tiny pieces. The red cabbage was then soaked in boiling water. A pipette was used to drop the red cabbage indicator into different solutions and finally they waited until the solutions turned different colours. The redder the colour, the more acid the solution contained !
