Water colour painting creating texture and tone.

Pupils demonstrated an ability to create texture and tones with water coloured paints. 
They applied the lightest colour first. 
A few things they had to remember is which direction the light is coming from. (Lighter on one side and darker on the other). Building up the tone gradually by mixing the colours together.
