Extinguishing fires

4H has been learning about extinguishing fires today. We have learnt that different fires need to be extinguished using different methods. Some fires shouldn't be put out using water as water may make the fire worse. We combined bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to make a fizzing mixture that when held over a candle blew out the candles flame.
