Directional language

Recently in ICT we have been looking at algorithms. Today we paired up and gave an algorithm to our partner to help them make a paper aeroplane. After this, we then discussed that the algorithm to make a paper aeroplane, has to be in order otherwise it won’t work. Pupils then identified that not all algorithms, have to be done in the same order. We then discussed the different directions that could be used to get from one place to another.  Fantastic lesson!
