Sixth Form Beach group

Beach group have got stuck straight into practising their life skills this week in the new Beach Suite. We have been ironing sheets, making the bed and cleaning the kitchen.  We have enjoyed putting our own finishing touches to the apartment.

Boxing at Brian Rose

Sixth form, class 5S at WINGZ studio

5S had a fantastic day using drama, dance and rap to express themselves. They enjoyed practicing tricky break dance moves, mastering Hip Hop and finished off singing a cool rap. We even had time to try our hands at some Graffiti art.

Sheep Shearing at Lea Farm, Myerscough.

Finally the rolled fleeces were placed inside a large bail to be sent to the British Wool Council for sorting, cleaning, dying, spinning etc for clothing and other uses.

The pupils were shown how the freshly sheared fleeces were placed on the table, spread out, any dirty wool removed from the edges, folded and rolled.
