Stanley Park Bandstand, Blackpool.

The Band were invited to perform here one Saturday in June for a "Music In The Park" concert.  Mr Whittaker, our perapatetic music teacher, often gives up his own time to play with us for which we are very grateful.

Bendrigg Residential Activity Centre, Cumbria.

It was a very hot day when we played at the Summer Fete in June - and far too hot to wear our Band blazers! Park School pupils stay at Bendrigg every year so the Band are pleased to help out by playing at the Fete which helps raise money for Bendrigg's upkeep.

Being in the Band is not all about performing for an audience.  These pupils have their hard-hats on as they prepare to climb and crawl through the cave at Bendrigg. I don't think anyone chickened out at the last minute!

Ryan is now in Year 11 and has been in the Band for nearly six years so he has given up lots of his own time to play with us. He's an excellent trumpet player and here he is with Mr Bradford and Mr Whittaker at Bendrigg - a rose between two thorns!

Here is Ben "Drummer Boy" Warne setting a strict tempo on his drums and keeping the Band moving along nicely. He also plays for the Blackpool Area Schools Symphony Orchestra [BASSO] as well as at his church and he's a lovely lad too - a 'top man' in fact!

Miss Neish was Commander-In-Chief of the teapot after the Band had played for the delegates at the "Hearts and Minds" conference.  No sugar for her though as she said she was sweet enough already.........!!!

Windmill House, Blackpool.

The Band's first visit of 2013 was in January to the Windmill sheltered housing complex where we played for the residents and staff.  It was great to start off the New Year with an appreciative audience and with plenty of drinks and biscuits afterwards!
