We continued with our Gymnastics topic in P.E. this week. We worked on how we traveled around the equipment and Mr Johnson even challenged us to move as if we were doing Parkour over the equipment.

In Art this week we have started working on symmetry, this is when both sides of an image or picture are mirror images of each other.
We had some great designs of butterflies and some fantastic symetrical patterns!

Food Tech
This week in Food Technology we made quick bread buns.
We used flour, yeast and salt to make the dough which we then kneaded the dough into rolls and placed them into the oven.

Secondary Disco
We had a fantastic day at the KS3/KS4 Disco this afternoon!
We did lots of dancing and Mr. Taylor was a great DJ!

Well being morning 3W
This morning in 3W we had a well being morning. It was all about staying calm and and being mindful. We did some mindfulness coloring, listened to calming music and the girls even did everyone's nails. Even Mr D and the boys had their nails done!

Pantomime
We all enjoyed the nativity at Blackpool Pleasure Beach!
It was very funny, Mr Dillingham even got a shout out and was teased by the evil step-mother!

Drama: Lights Camel Action.
Mrs Jackson showed us that in theatre productions its not all about the performance, there is a lot of work behind the scenes.
For this we helped Mrs Jackson with building the display for the Upper Primary Nativity production: Lights Camel Action.

Computing 3W
In Computing we have been using Bee Bots.
These are little robots that can be programmed by using a number of commands on the top of the bot. We moved our bee bots through an assault course and had to work out how many commands to input to get the Bee Bot from one spot to another.
