Computing 3W
In computing this week we have started to learn coding.
we used the micro bit a tiny little computer board to allow us to code animations which then showed on the boards.
we learnt how to make our code "loop" which would mean it repeats.

In art we finished our topic on printing by painting a background using blended colours and finally designing tile to paint and then print. There was some fantastic art work!

Drama 3W
In Drama we got to perform out Greek Theater sphinx story.
We had our Greek masks on and performed the body parts of the sphinx,
Body of a lion,
Tail of a snake,
Wings of an eagle and
The head of a woman.

In Art this week we used paint to blend the colours together and show how blending can be used to make new colours.

STEM 3W
In STEM this week we investigated the strength of paper when it was built into different shapes.
We looked at cuboids, triangular prisms and cylinders.
We found out that the cylinder was strongest due to it not having corners as a weak point!
