Kite designs
Pupils have explored two different shapes of kite, the delta and the diamond. As a class they looked at different patterns, designs and discussed them as a class. They then designed their own kites and are ready to make them next week out of paper straws, tissue paper and paper.

A Material hunt
In our STEM lesson we went on a materials hunt. They identified things that were rough, hard, soft, and were able to explain why they made these decisions. Some pupils went into the extension task and were able to suggest what objects consist of liquid, gas or solid.

A Material Scavenger hunt
