Scarlette came into class this morning with 2 certificates and a fantastic trophy. She has been awarded a merit for Ballet and Tap dancing.

Coronation ready
The pupils in 2K and 2B have joined together to produce a most special window display.
This 32 page collaboration took a lot of concentration to make sure the correct colours were used.

Finding our favourite artist
During Art, the pupils of 2K had a choice of 3 artists to research.
Using the IPads they used a search engine to find images of the artists work then chose their favourite and told us why they liked it.

Farm to fork
Our new subject in Topic is all about food.
We are going to be learning where food comes from.
We have been experiencing different foods by tasting, looking at and smelling them.

World Penguin Day
We love penguins in 2K so we are taking part in World Penguin Day.

Making Roman shields
Last term 2K studied the Romans.
During Topic and Art lessons they learned the importance of the symbols and colours the Romans used and transferred this learning in to their designs when they created their own shield to take in to battle.
