Making natural paint for Gond Art

What a maths superstar!!!
During maths today Josh blew us away with his attitude to keep pushing himself to try more difficult maths.
He was so proud of himself he wanted to show other teachers and can’t wait to show mummy and daddy.

Arts Award : Gond Art
2K have had a wonderful first lesson with Mrs Cooper learning all about the very colourful Gord Art.
Gond art comes from India and is 1400/years old. It is a form of Indian folk art made up of lines and dot patterns using natural colours.

Mathematicians in training
Last week Miss Kerr introduced the class to part-whole models.
It didn’t take 2K long to master the method and now can independently solve maths problems using it.

PCA’s Got Talent
A huge well done to everyone who took park in the PCA’s Got Talent show on Friday.
2K performed a whole class dance to Gangnam Style and rocked everyone’s socks off!!
Everyone in the audience joined in singing and dancing and the judges gave us some amazing feedback.

Stay safe on firework weekend
It’s so much fun to watch the fireworks and enjoy a bonfire.
We must remember to stay safe and be with a grown up at all times.
